Laevaetion and Desyful had followed Daray the whole way. Laevaetion looked past Daray towards Kyleigh and the shoyru, "Its that asshole."
Desyful let out a small cat's hiss.

The Shoyru tapped his fingertips together and smiled. "The name is Obsidian; I would prefer you call me that."
Kyleigh shook head frantically as if telling them to leave. But it was already too late.
The ground underneath Daray's feet rose and wrapped around his feet; it then hardened and turned black. Daray gasped, finding he could not move.

Laevaetion took a few steps forward with Desyful at her heels, "You have issues! Why are you doing this?" She asked in a demanding tone, eyes glaring at Obsidian.

"I told you: There does not have to be a reason to cause pain. I was created for this, Laevaetion," he explained. "I was-" He was cut short by a brilliant burst of fire. Obsidian was knocked backwards off the couch. He stood up and rubbed his head, glancing at Kyleigh. Her eyes were filled with newborn defiance. Obsidian's golden eyes shifted between Laevaetion and Kyleigh.
"Hmm..." he muttered, brushing some soot from his armor.

Laevaetion looked at Kyleigh with surprise, but didn't speak a word. She looked at Desyful. Pulling a small blade-like tool from one of the pockets on her belt, she shoved it into a small slot in the back of Desyful's neck.
Desyful's eyes widdened and changed from yellow to red in a blink. Desyful flicked her right arm. Light sprouted from it until the lower half of her arm changed into a sharp blade. Desyful ran towards Obsidian, swing the blade at him.

"Clever technology," muttered Obsidian as the weapon scraped against his armor and made a grinding sound. Daray took a deep breath, rubbing his hands together.
"Let's see if I kin still do this," muttered the Lupe. A massive pole-axe appeared in his good hand, causing him to smirk. Daray slammed the blade onto the stone that encased his feet; the rock shattered, setting him free.

Desyful 'hm'ed shortly. She knew that armor would cause a problem. Not really thinking at this time, she swung the blade once again at Obsidian.

As Desyful kept Obsidian busy, Daray quietly made his way to Kyleigh. With much effort, he lifted his large weapon and slammed it onto the binding rock. The glass-like stone cracked down the middle and shattered, causing Kyleigh to fall forward into Daray's good arm. She seemed to exhausted to hold herself up.
Daray gave a single nod to Laevaetion before running out the door with Kyleigh.

Laevaetion stayed in the room with Desyful, waiting until Daray and Kyleigh were out of the building before fleeing herself. It wouldn't be like her to leave Desyful alone in such a place, anyways, even if she could take care of herself.
Desyful continuosly slashed at Obsidian, seeing that she had no different command.

Daray ran for about 5 more minutes and stopped, breathing heavily. He set Kyleigh down and plopped down on the ground next to her. He looked at the sky, still clouded by the smoke from earlier. He glanced down at Kyleigh and squinted. There was something familiar about her that he had never noticed, but he couldn't place a finger on it.
Obsidian frowned, seeing Daray and Laevaetion had left. "Hm. What a shame. Well, it seems I'm wasting my time here." With that, he was incased in the shiney black rock. It then shattered into several pieces; Obsidian was gone.
