"The shadows are a dangerous place, dear."

That was what mothers on Pheonix Island told their young children. At night, bad people lurked in the shadows along the streets. And tonight was no exception. In a deep shadow between two houses lurked something. It was identical to a shadow- but twice as deadly.

A group of four anthro pets walked along the streets, nearing the shadow. A starry gelert, a silver zafara, a white wocky, and a red aisha. Quiet hissing and muttering came from the shadow. "Now I just need one of them... The one purest of heart..." it whispered. The voice was feminine and was a mix bewteen a pur and a hiss. She slowly slid from the shadow and slipped into the aisha's.

Meanwhile, the pets were deep in talk. They were discussing the plan for that night. Suddenly, the aisha stopped. "Oh, go on. I just want to see something..." she said, shooing away the others.

An anthro desert kougra walked along the boardwalk of Phoenix island along with a tall faerie bori. The kougra wore a pair of black shorts with a long cloth covering over. Her top was a halter,she wore many different pieces of jewelery. Her hair was up in a neat ponytail.

The bori wore a long dress with a dragon gelert hybrid printed along the front. Her wings folded nicley against her back. "So Tailu what is going on in your life?" The bori asked the kougra. "Nothing really Streetnammer and Gray keep buying plushies...Not that I care at the moment." Tailu said as she rubbed her eyes.

The aisha gazed into a dark window in one of the shops nearby. The shadow chuckled menceingly, causing the aisha to jump. "Wha- who's there?!" she asked, spinning around. The shadow slowly rose from the ground, taking it's regular faint form of another aisha.
"If you even attempt to defy me, I will kill you." she hissed.
