Daray tapped his fingers anxiously on the polished wood of the table. She was two minutes late. Had he done something wrong? No, he couldn't have. He had rehearsed at least a hundred times, watched as many soap operas as he could, and thought of every course of action he could take.
Yes, tonight was supposed to be Daray's first date with Laevaetion. His first date ever. It had been almost a week since the incident with Natasa and nothing strange had happened. Things had only gotten better.
He could feel his power returning to him; he had pounded out his depression. He was a new man ready to take on the world. He was no longer bound to hell and Lucifer; he could make his own choices. He was his own.
But wasn't thinking of freedom right now. He was trying to think of reasons for Laevaetion's lateness. She had to be coming. He checked the analog clock nervously; it was three past eight. Three minutes late. He began to wring his hand and shift uncomfortably in his seat.
"Och! Where is she?"
He had gone out and bought a forty-thousand Neopoint tuxedo for the occasion. She couldn't miss it. No, she wouldn't. He was positive.
He looked around the five-star restaurant and sighed; he had brought about fifty thousand Neopoints for this date.
A peculiar Aisha sat a few seats away from Daray; his jet black hair was slicked back and greasy; his grunge-style of clothing did not fit in at all with the formal dress of everyone else. His eerie, silver eyes watched Daray unblinkingly.
A dark figure sat next to the Aisha. "Remember my son. Capture him and bring him to me. Do not fail me like your idiotic sister."
"Do not worry yourself, father. I will complete the task you have requested and capture the traitor. I will take any means necessary. Rest assured."
"I knew I could trust you, my child." The figure evaporated into the air and everything continued normally.
