The silver wocky brushed her rusty red hair from her face as she perched herself on the railing of the deck attached to the front of the neohome. Sounds of children, teens, and parents echoed throughout the streets tonight. Everyone was enjoying the devilish holiday that came once every year.
Hallowe'en.
She, of course, had decided to stay home and hand out candy. Their street was quite busy, after all.
It was fairly quiet in the neohome tonight. Other than the occasional rustle or inquiring young voice, it was silent. Not that it was odd. Anna had gone out trick or treating with Fai a couple hours ago. Only Vanilla, AK and herself were at home.
She sighed, looking into the sky as she recalled a few stories she'd been told about Hallowe'en in her younger years.

"Candy candy can-DEE! Candy candy can-DEE!" Chanted three voices; the voices belonging to Noriko, Eaida, and Akeminess. Akeminess wore a short ruffled black dress with long sleeves, trying to make herself a witch. She didn't wear the hat since she would fear it would mess up her hair. A broom stick was held in her hand along with a pillow case.
Eaida walked along side of Akeminess with a black cape hanging off her back. A black and red velvet dress with long sleeves just hovered off the ground; gold strings criss-crossing here and there. Small fangs were inside the scorchio's mouth and two fake bite marks on her neck; signalling that she was suposed to be a vampiress.
Noriko may have been 22 years old, but it wasn't stopping her. Large demin flares dragged across the ground. A red shirt had purple swirls on it. The orange sleeves were loose, netted and had red flowers on them. Peace sign earrings and necklace were on her and a light blue band was wrapped around her head and dissapeared under her hair.

Milly's ears perked, hearing voices nearing the house. She picked up the candy filled, pumpkin-shaped bowl next to her, running her fingers along the edge.

Akeminess looked towards the house they were approaching, which happened to be Milly's home. Noticing the silver wocky, Akeminess ran up the steps of the deck, "Heyo Milly!" She greated. She held open her bag when Noriko and Eaida caught up with her, "Trick or treat?"
"MERRY CHRISTMAS!" Noriko shouted hyperly.

"Akeminess!" Milly waved to the zafara. "Here you go." She fished out a few mini chocolate bars from the bowl, dropping them into the bag.
"Wrong holiday." She stated, chuckling lightly. Setting down the bowl, she crossed ankles, swinging her legs back and forth slightly.
"So, how're you guys doing so far?" Milly asked.

"Thanks!" Akeminess said as she pulled the ends of the bag into one of her paws.
"We've already got some bags filled at home." Eaida said with a smile, "'Need enough to keep everyone high' in Nori's words."
"Hehe." Noriko said simply, "Its not too late to start celebrating upcoming holidays early!"

"Welcome." Milly replied. "Wise words." She nodded towards Eaida, a grin on her face.
"I suppose if you put it that way..." Milly chuckled lightly again. "So... are you three the only ones out tonight, then? ... Nevermind. That's a yes, I'd take it."

"Nope. There are more of us out. We just kinda went or own ways..." Akeminess said as she rocked back and forth on her heels. She tugged at the bottom of her dress, "I just hope they don't come around."
"Don't jinx us!" Eaida said in a loud whisper as she elbowed Akeminess gently.

Milly shrugged. "More people means more candy. Heh."
"Too late now." She remarked, smiling at Eaida.
Milly looked up to the sky again, staring into the stars. "It's been fairly quiet around here, actually. I think it's because Anna's out." She murrmurred with a soft laugh.

"CANDEEEE!" Noriko shouted out just for the heck of it.
Akeminess let out a laugh, "That could be it."
"WHOA!" Eaida said as a smile faded off her face, "Who's at home right now?!"
"Zhauy is." Noriko said simply, "Why?"
"You know you just can't leave her alone on halloween." Eaida said, "She'd give kids poisoned candy or something!"

"Smart kids check their candy before they eat it." Milly replied.
"Unfortunately, that still means most of them would get poisoned." A bored voice answered from the doorway.
Milly turned to Vanilla, the source of the voice. "... True..."
