"Well, thats not nice." Said the voice of the anthro shadow Meerca known as Mailiku. He leaned against the trunk of a tree, his sweater sleeves folded up as always and arms folded, "Just because I'm hated doesn't mean you should say hurtful things. I do have a conscious, you know. Not much of one, but its still there."

Preania Glared at Mailiku instantly. "You don't act like it. If you had a conscious, you wouldn't hurt people as much without being hurt yourself." She simply stated. Chikako pointed at Mailiku. "Your Mailiku, I presume? If you are, You tried to hurt the only person that cared for me before I met Paige. Preania." She asked.

"Which is why I said not much of one." Mailiku repeated. He shrugged his shoulders, "Its what I've been doing since I was a child. I grew out of the pain." His glance shifted towards Chikako, "What of it? There were people I had once cared about. Not that they live any longer."

Chikako clenched her fists. "Both of my Parent's were killed. I will not say by who. But if you lay a hand on Preania, I swear I will kill you." Preania shook her head. "I'll do the killing, You can help-" She was suddenly cut off. "Father." She said in sudden distaste as a gelert came out of the shadows to the right of Preania. CHikako turned. "You..." She gasped, then growled. "You killed my Parents." She hissed at him.

"Ah, yes. The 'I'll kill you' moto. Its getting quite old, really." Mailiku said. He was much stronger than he was mistaken for. Just because he usually had people do things for him didn't mean he didn't do anything on his own. What about before those people came around? He had to do something to have people just do things for him. Mailiku's glance shifted towards the gelert.

Blood laughed. "So, you still have a grudge on me for that? Pathetic." He responed. He drew his sword. " WHo's your friend?" He asked. "THAT IS THE BIGGEST INSULT TO BOTH OF US! I DESPISE THE RAT THERE!" Preania screamed. "Goddamn you asshole. Whore. Bitch. Every cuss word I can think of." Chikako kicked Blood in his stomach, but marely phased him. "That all ya got?" Blood taunted. Preania turned to Mailiku. "I swear I won't try to kill you if you kill that bastard gelert over there." She tried to bargain.
