The sun dimmed over the Island horizon, rippling the water with melodious colours. The sky was aflame with bright oranges that paled into pastels. The breezeless night was somewhat nippy, but not so that it was cold.
A starry blue mynci sat poised at the top of a palm tree, a fluffy sweater pulled tightly around her. Her crimson and blue hair shone in the dimming light. Sparkling cyan eyes watched the colours in the sky fondly.
The mynci, Fai, let out a light sigh. She was unusually tired that night. Despite her fatigue, she still would've preferred to be in Neopia Central, partying at some nightclub. For tonight, though, she settled for watching the sunset.
