Battle Aftermath ~ (continued from something...)

Milly sat back into the now cool sand. It was about 4:30, she was guessing. The battle had taken quite a bit of time - not that she'd really helped any - and she was beginning to wonder if she'd ever even make it to the Shoreview Inn before the sun set.
To make matters even worse, she was confused beyond belief. Her trip had started off normally. Get on the cruise, sail down to the island, get off the boat, spend a little time at the beach, meet a couple locals...

There. That's when things started to get strange. Shortly after meeting her zafara companion and setting off for the inn, they were attacked by a rabid hissi, an insane meerca, and "saved" by an overconfident lutari. Once the hissi had been beaten and sent away, an acara appeared out of nowhere. Just when she thought things wouldn't get any wierder, the meerca somehow took control of the acara, causing him to attack the mysterious lutari.
Of course, that was obviously just a distraction for the lutari, as the meerca's next orders came as something of a surprise. "Kill Akeminess."
Though, the thing that happened next was even more surprising, if that were even possible. The meerca's control was broken by the acara's unwillingness to hurt a girl.
Though the thing that happened right after that was the strangest yet. A ghostly green gelert had appeared from nowhere. After a suprise attack that managed to break the jewel in the meerca's staff, the meerca fell unconcious.
After seeing the trouble was gone, the lutari skipped off to whatever business he had and left her, Milly, more confused than she'd ever been.

So, there she sat, staring at the gelert who was hovering over the meerca, looking as if she were going to kick him in the ribs.
"Okay. Now I'm really confused. Someone, anyone, mind telling me what just happened?"

Hacaeus, Minyinite, and Akeminess stood there, seeming as if they were awaiting orders from Zhauy. The ghost gelert pointed to the Inn in the short distance, "Go there. Its not safe to speak of things out in the public."

Hacaeus, Minyinite, and Akeminess nodded as they started walking towards the Inn. Akeminess stopped and turned, waiting for Milly.

Zhauy looked at the unconscious Mailiku. She knelt down and put a finger to his forhead. In seconds, he was gone.

Milly stood up, brushing the grains of sand from her pants and following the group of pets towards the Inn. 'Well, at least I'll make it to the Inn tonight.'

The pets walked into the Inn. Akeminess pointed to a door, "Theres a lounge through there..." Zhauy nodded and walked through the door, the rest following.

Milly followed them into the lounge, ignoring the curious stares some of the staff of the Inn, and the suspicious eyes of a couple customers.

The pets took a seat in random places of the lounge. Akeminess sat down on the edge of a red velvet couch, leaning her elbow on the arm, "so...what do you want to know?"

Two Gelerts stepped into the Inn. The first was a light pink with a long silver-blonde braid hanging behind her. The second was pitch black and seemed to be made of shadows, as the only parts of her that weren't black were her bright pink eyes and a diamond-studded sword.

Milly, who had taken her seat with the others, took a deep breath before beginning. "How about... who is the Gelert girl, what's with the psycho meerca, I still don't understand what happened with the acara, what's with the meerca fainting when the jewel in his staff broke AND why was he trying to kill Akeminess in the first place?" She looked around the room at the other pets, awaiting answers.

Zhauy leaned back in an armchair, "First, m'name is Zhauy. Zhauy is suposed to mean life, but that doesn't relate to me." She said as she pointed to the ghostly aurora and pale fur, "The Meerca's name is Mailiku. He pretty much is insane, but hes gifted when it comes to making potions and casting black magic and spells. No one knows really about what happened to Mailiku in the past, but all we know is that hes a murderer and ontop of that, he seems to pin-point us." She took a deep breath, "He created the orb on his staff. The orb has intence power, through which Mailiku can obtain. When the orb shatters, Mailiku can die, but you never know if he will or won't. Althouh, even though it appeared for it to be easy for me to reach, its terribly hard."

Zhauy pointed towards the Acara, "Thats Minyinite, Mailiku's first creation of mass destruction. Although he looks like a wimpy acara, when Mailiku triggers him, he turns into what you saw. Although, Minyinite was a failure. Mailiku couldn't get Minyinite to attack females. So Minyinite is how he is now."

Zhauy then pointed to Akeminess, "Akeminess came from a Tribe from Mystery Island. At the time, a war was going on. Although no side knew why the war started. Akeminess although did want to know. She stummbled upon Mailiku's work when she was trying to find out what was happening and it turned out Mailiku started the war. Mailiku acted like he could speak to the Gods and told them that to end the war and return peace, they wolud have to sacrifice Akeminess. Although Akeminess was saved by Hacaeus."

"Do not make me hurt you," an obviously aggitated voice growled darkly. The sound of many metal objects moving at once rang through the air. A figure in massively armoured began to walk towards the others; a pair of glowing, amber eyes visible through the visor of the helmet was the only clue that the figure was just not a hunk of walking steel. A long, curved blade jutted from where his right hand was supposed to be.

A smaller figure walked beside the armoured one, "I never said I wanted to come!" Shouted the figure. It was obviously Ruggierio because of the distinct Italian accent. The golden anthro shoyru crossed his arms grumpily.

The armoured figure shook its head, "Too bad; Cheesey said that you needed some time alone... Without your large friends," he said distastefully. "And your guns."

Ruggiero looked away indignantly, "I don't see why you even listen to that demon," he mumbled. "And I like my guns..." He added in undertone.

Milly blinked, taking it all in. "I see... so... he, Mailiku, I mean, could be dead now, then? Since the orb shattered?" She blinked and took another deep breath, rubbing her temples. "And I came here for a vacation... to relax... I hope I haven't gotten myself into anything... have I?"

Zhauy shifted her glance over to the italien and the armored one and raised an eyebrow, then lowered and shifted her glance back to the others, "He could be. I shattered it once before and he lived." She shrugged her shoulders, "Mailiku is odd. He could either forget about you or add you to his hit list."
