The tiny muffled yelps and cries from a young Lupe pup could be heard from under the thick snow on Terror Mountain. A pup had been burried alive not long ago, cast out from her pack. The vast lanscape was empty, the air crisp with cold. A few more minutes and the pup would be dead.

"Of all places on the whole entire planet of Neopia, why must I come HERE?" Grumbled a dry tone nearby where the damaged Lupe pup laid underneath the chilly surface of the terrian. A cloak was tightly wrapped around the fading form of the Ghost Lupe, who had to struggle from being blown away by the chilly fingers of the gusts that would pass over the cold climate, auds pinned to the back of her skull. Brushing away her frosted braids from her face as she would stand silently among the icy hill above from where the pup laid, bodice beginning to tremble uncontrolably from the chilly breezes and frosted climate, the snow praticlly reached her ankles by now.
What had brought her attention to these chilly mountiansides anyway? Was it just the cold attraction, or were her senses spazzing? Inhaling a deep breath, her auds soon pricked forward upon her skull, almost as if she had heard something beneath the snow. "Eh...?" Jewel would blink twice, trying to clear the fog from her vision. Her keen sense of hearing must've been lying... Who would just leave a defenseless pet out here to freeze to death? She would shake her head slowly, then pull the heavy warm material tighter around her body, orbs scanning the terrian as they soon landed upon the small mound of snow.
Are my eyes deceiving me...? She would question her thoughts, the chilling breezes soon picking up their paces and forcing her to stagger on, slowly making her way towards the miserable creature. Once reaching it, she would stiffly bend over, squinting her orbs as she carefully began to brush the frost away, soon discovering the small, nearly dead beast. Oh... My... God! She nearly gasped the words aloud, but didn't hesitate to dig the rest of the poor creature up. Taking it as gently as possible into her arms, she would slowly standing, shaking the small creature softly. "Hey.. Don't die on me..." She would mumble, beginning to gently stroke the beast's matted coat. This poor little guy'll freeze to death if I don't do something quick... She seemed to mumble to her thoughts, slowly pulling off her cloak and wrapping it around the pup carefully, not knowing what good that would do. But it was worth a shot. Now... Where am I...?

The pup yipped as she was lifted from the snow. Her young eyes were almost sightless, but her nose took in the strange smell of a ghostly Lupe. Her ears where tiny things, flopping over and slightly muffling her hearing.
The pup snuggled towards the warm body that was Jewel and tried to shake off the snow at the same time, rolling over in the cloak.

A small, warm smile flickered across Jewel's facials as she watched the tiny thing search for warmth. Soon realizing what kind of condition and climate they were in, the Lupe's thoughts soon snapped back to reality as another chilly gust blew past, making the Lupe bend over to keep the small creature in her arms and protect her from the passing breeze. Shuddering, her fangs began to chatter wildly but her warm gaze never left the small thing in her arms.
"Eeh... Which direction, which direction..?!" The Lupe questioned in a panic-like tone. She had wandered quite a far distance from where the small town was located at, and was possibly at the high peak of Terror itself. Oh... All the troubles I get myself into... She merely grumbled in her mind, glancing wildly about. Her vision was blurred by the blinding white snowflakes that had been caught in the wind's chilling breezes. I'm going to be a frozen statue if I don't do something quick! Clenching her fangs, her orbs soon sealed tightly. Ugh.. Which direction was Happy Valley again..?

The pup whined as the cold nipped the sensitive skin her light fur covered.
The fur was a strange color for a pup. It was the blue-grey of a on-coming storm, dark and light at the same time. The color swirled around her pelt, much like clouds themselves. Her unopened eyes were dark grey as well, tinted with the color of stars.

Jewel would blink, soon glancing down at the fragile creature in her arms with an unsure frown. A hint of worry glimmered across her nightsky orbs as they flickered across the frosted climate, looking for any other adventures among the snowy peaks. Rubbing her frozen, runny nose with an unrelieved sigh, she would shudder once more before taking a few stiff steps through the thick, ankle-deep frosted soil. Nothing. Not a shadow, not a figure could've been spotted trudging about the terrian.
Great... Keeping the heavy material from slipping off the poor beast in her arms, she would shake her head quickly, trying to rid the snowflakes that had landed upon it. "I'll get us out of here... Somehow..." She whispered reassuringly into the small pup's folded auds before continuing along with her travel. I could surely use a paw at this moment... I won't make it out of here alive without a bit of help..

The pup sneezed, sniffing the cold air. Her paws twitched as her eyes opened slowly. The dark orbs searched the empty space, and finally saw Jewel. She yawned, her tail wagging faintly to see who she thought was her mother.
