"Ugh..." Mumbled Cheesey incoherently as his head lolled to the side. He had immediately felt the warmth of Raine's house. It seemed that he was making an effort to open his eyes, but was failing miserably.

Raine set the protesting kitten down into a nearby chair, ushering Milly into the guest room. "Make yourself comfortable, I suppose... is there anything I should get?" She asked Milly, eyeing the shoyru.
"Nothing I can think of right now..." Milly responded. She turned to the others. "Come in here, you guys."

Milly sat down in an armchair, pulling her legs up and coiling her tail around them. "So... " She began, thinking for a minute. "Out of curiosity, would you mind telling me what happened... I mean..." She trailed off.

A ragged cough was issued from the Shoyru's position. "They wanted death..." he began, eyes still closed tightly. "They wanted to see our blood staining their blades. They out numbered us, the cowards," he mumbled bitterly. "However, they did leave us... But now without a final act of cowardice. I fear that two great evils have combined," he finished grimly, voice wavering.

Akeminess shuttered at the thought, "This is bad...really bad..." She said quietly as she sat down in an armchair and looked at the floor. Hacaeus sighed as he leaned against the door frame, remaining speechless.

Milly pressed her ears back and half-closed her eyes. 'I feel that I'm out of the inner circle still...'
"Um, mind elaborating on what this means just a wee bit? I know the meerca and the hissi... I think Anna mentioned the zafara a little while back..." She trailed off again, picking at a threadbare patch on the armrest on the chair.

Hacaeus exhailed, "The zafara is my twin sister, Laevaetion." He said, looking at the ground, "But is my complete opposite, I guess you could say." Akeminess fiddled with her golden jetsam tooth on her necklace, listening but not putting in her word.

"I see... I think." Milly exhaled deeply, still picking at the patch. She brushed her bangs out of her face and leaned back. "I s'pose I should be grateful I wasn't seen this time around... then again..."
She blinked, recalling the short battle on Mystery Island again. "... nevermind."
