"YOU GOT ME?!" The Tax Beast roared in the helpless midnight blue Anthro's face as he held her up a foot off the ground by her throat, his grip seemed to be unbreakable, making the Lupe's airway praticlly blocked. Jewel could only nod grimly as she struggled for breath, wincing in pain. Smirking, the Tax Beast snorted, dropping the poor creature onto the ground. Shadow was somewhere else, getting his ass kicked by a bunch of agents. Jewel gasped for breath as she panted, holding her throat for a second then wincing once more. Her neohome had been destroyed not too soon, Shadow unable to hold the large wrecking ball off since there were more agents and workers then him. The two Lupe's things had been destroyed along with the Neohome, since they could not save it, and weren't rich at all. For, that was how their house had been demolished; taxes, bills, money. Turning away and leaving Jewel with her only cloak, the Tax Beast and his 'men' soon disappeared over the large hill, probably about to demolish another poor pets' home. Wincing in pain, the creature could be seen with a bloody lip, scratches and deep gashes raced down her body as she winced. Who could do such a terrible thing to the innocent? One might ask, but then again, Jewel and her brother had been getting on the Tax Beasts' nerves for years now. Muscles would ripple into a shudder as a bit of blood began to trickle down her chin, gasping in pain, she gripped her bloodied stomach then growled softly, cursing underneath her breath. "Damn Tax Beast!" she roared, shakily trying to stand, but failing as she collapassed into the snow, uncoinsous...

Blasting music was heard from a black jeep that got closer and closer. 'Breaking the Habit' was playing so loudly that it could turn you deaf. The striped gelert driving the jeep looked and stopped the car suddenly, causing Threetaileddemon to hit face first against the window. Noriko hopped out of the jeep and skidded to her knees beside the unconcious one, "Hey! Get up!"

((Heh heh. I'm kind of distracted... xD))
The Lupe did not stir but seemed to lay there, motionless. There was barely a breath left in her longs as she had gotten quite a beating from the Tax Beast himself, claws seemed to dig into the ground as slowly, the Lupe's orbs began to open, slightly. She panted, weakly sitting in an upright postion then clutching her stomach, that continued to bleed heavily. She seemed to not look up at the Striped Anthro Gelert but just continued to pant as her orbs slowly began to close in pain....
((Blah. And I have to go. e.e;;; Bye!!! *Waves and poofles*))

Noriko sighed worriedly, "TTD, come help". TTD flew over to Noriko, "Why are you near a dead person?" "She isn't dead. Help me put her in the jeep, she needs medical attention." Noriko said. TTD did a goofy salute and lifted the lupe and gently laid her in the back seats, then took his own seat in the front. Noriko hopped into the jeep and started the engine, 'Numb' starting to play loudly. "Buckle up, this will be bumpy" Said Noriko. TTD put the seatbelt somehow around the lupe, then buckled himself shakingly. Noriko did the same, then started speeding for Neopia Central's Hospital.

"Wh-What happened...?" asked the midnight blue anthro Lupe hesitantly as she painfully sat up in one of the hospital beds, her forehead, arms, and praticicly whole body were bandaged carefully, seeming to hide the antrho's blue fur. The passing nurse blinked as she looked towards the confused beast with a shrug, continuing to walk on. Jewel blinked as she wearily looked down at her arms, raising a brow. For some awkward reason, grogginess had seeped slowly into her dull orbs that now gazed confusedly out the window. "Hmmm," she sighed, looking at the door where 'guests' were allowed in...

Noriko walked down the hospital hallway, heading to the Lupe's room. She knocked on the door, "Hello?" She called in softly, not wanting to use her normal loud voice.

"Huh?" Jewel blinked as she glanced over towards the door, blinking a tad confusedly she seemed to wearily call, "Come in.."

Jewel blinked as she seemed to slightly move away from the striped gelert, a look of 'What the hell do you want?!' seemed to twist across her facials as she glanced away, wincing.

Jewel blinked as she painfully shifted her weight, giving the gelert a confused glance before she looked away, staring down blankly at the white blankets that covered the bed. "No... Not exactly..."
